Lost, Found & Homes Wanted
Please note: We do NOT take unwanted pets
We work with BARRK who are the local rehoming charity. They should be your first point of call if you are looking for a dog, or wish to find a home for yours.
We care for the local strays and lost dogs on behalf of Moray Council Dog Warden (Environmental Health 01343 563345), and very occasionally re-home them if not claimed after 7 days. The Lost & Found Register has some historical records.
If you've lost your dog its worth phoning us, the Police, the Dog Warden, and your local Vet. If you phone us out of hours leave us a message (breed/description, age, where lost, and your phone number!) on the answer phone.
All dogs are charged at our standard boarding rate per day. In addition there is a Warden Charge of £25 which we collect on behalf of The Moray Council, regardless of length of stay.
We use the 'FaceBook' page to advertise any dogs we have to rehome. If, for whatever reason, you can no longer keep your dog the available charities who might help are BARRK, Mrs Murrays in Aberdeen, and Munlochy Animal Shelter.
It is the law that all dogs must be Microchipped, this has greatly helped our recovery times, but it's important to make sure your details are updated on the 'chip' website. 'Petlog' are a good site to start at for doing this.
